Clowd Converter is built for sustainable free usage: tight caps keep costs predictable; optional ads and supporter links help cover hosting and APIs.

Free — browser

Convert locally in your browser — files stay on your device.
Up to 250MB per file on the free tier.
Up to 20 completed conversions per day per device (tracked in your browser).
Queue capped at 12 files at once.

Ads (optional, consent-based)

If you accept personalized ads in the cookie banner, we may load third-party ad scripts (for example Adsterra when configured). You can switch to “Essential only” anytime. See Privacy.

Donations & sponsors

Supporters help pay for domains, Workers, and Cobalt-compatible download APIs. Donations rarely cover heavy cloud encoding alone — they're best paired with fair limits and transparent monetization.

Add NEXT_PUBLIC_DONATE_URL (Ko-fi, GitHub Sponsors, etc.) to show a support link in the footer.

Pro / cloud conversion — coming next

Paid tiers will cover larger files and server-side encoding(like other top converters) with short-lived storage, clear retention policy, and rate limits. This isn't live yet — the free browser path remains the default.
